Leno to host the Late Show on CBS from next year

Jay Leno will take over as host of the Late Show on CBS.

Letterman said he can’t wait for Leno to take over and says Jay’s been a real victim in the NBC wars of last year between him and Conan O’Brien and it’s nice to see him getting a fair deal for once.

The Late Show will move to Burbank, California and will feature regular appearances from Larry The Cable Guy and his new sidekick Andy Kindler.

Leno fans David Letterman and Howard Stern will be the first guests on the show, due to air on 1st April 2012.

Conan O’Brien will move back to The Tonight Show on NBC.
