The brand new and exclusive official music video for ‘The Late Show Theme’ is now available at cbs.com/lateshow. This new version of the famous theme tune is more punchy and the video looks great. Paul Shaffer described this new version as “the full-length theme song with a jazzy sax solo, then a guitar babble at the end” in the recent Late Show newsletter. They used green screen for most of it and had New York scenes on it behind them. The video was produced exclusively for the web so you won’t see it on TV.

Late Show With David Letterman band member Will Lee’s tribute band for The Beatles called The Fab Faux will be performing on the show on Friday 9th February – definitely one to watch out for. No doubt Paul will join in – should be very good indeed. I think this could be the first time in the show’s history where the musical guest has been a member of the CBS Orchestra (other than Paul joining in on some occasions with other bands). More information on The Fab Faux can be found at www.thefabfaux.com. Be there! Drew Barrymore is on the Late Show on Monday 12th February – so watch out for that. Remember Dave’s crush on her? Who could forget? And Dave is technically “married” to her. ;-) Bill Gates is on The Daily Show this Monday (airs on Tuesday on More 4).
