Jimmy Fallon will return to Saturday Night Live this December for one show only.
Fallon made a name for himself on SNL but left in 2004 to pursue other ventures, including becoming the host of Late Night on NBC in 2009.
Jimmy will be hosting Saturday Night Live on the 17th December, and Michael Bublé will be the musical guest promoting his new Christmas album.
Speaking on Twitter, Jimmy said “I’m incredibly honored to be heading back to 8H where it all started. And by “it” I mean Will Ferrell’s awesome movie career”.
Fallon has made a few sketch appearances on SNL since leaving but nothing as big as his hosting gig this December.
The Daily Show With Jon Stewart has won the “Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series” award at this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards.
Late Night host Jimmy Fallon hosted the ceremony this year and he did such a good job rumours are suggesting he’s being lined up to host the Academy Awards early next year.

Jimmy will attend the ceremony on the 8th June in New York City to pick up his award.
Several US talk show hosts were featured on a new episode of Family Guy which premiered in America on the 3rd May.
They appeared as part of a scene talking about a relationship between Brian and Lauren Conrad (from MTV’s The Hills) on the show, and how it’s being reported on TV.
Jimmy Fallon, Craig Ferguson and Jay Leno were featured with specially-made clips from the real life talk shows.
Jimmy Fallon was a guest on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Wednesday night. The host of Late Night stopped by for a chat with Leno to talk about how he’s settling in to his new show, and to also provide some comedic music in the form of a “spitting” song.
