US publication AdWeek is reporting that broadcaster ABC may be looking back to the 50’s and 60’s by introducing live advert spots into Jimmy Kimmel Live. The move is subject to interest from advertisers, and is expected to begin in May.

Satellite navigation manufacturer Garmin aired a live advert last year on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and are planning another in this quarter.

After 168 days, The Tony Mendez Show returns! The last TMS was back in October just before the writers strike started, and it’s been off ever since. The first episode back sees appearances from George Clooney, Barbara Gaines, Dave Letterman, Paul Shaffer, Rupert Jee, George Clarke and other Late Show staffers. There’s no appearance from Stephanie though. Tony finds out his billboard has been taken down to be replaced by the Sports Illustrated cover, and he tries to lose weight so he can get himself back up there.
