The Beatles tribute band, The Fab Faux, will perform on Late Night With Conan O’Brien on the 12th September. The group features Late Show With David Letterman band member Will Lee and Jimmy Vivino who is a member of the Late Night With Conan O’Brien band (The Max Weinberg 7). The Fab Faux have gained huge acclaim for their music performances, and have also been musical guests on the Late Show With David Letterman in the past.

Michael Phelps - eight time gold medal winner at this year’s Olympic Games in Beijing - will host Saturday Night Live in it’s first new episode on the 13th September. NBC was the American broadcaster of the Olympic Games 2008 so it seems appropriate for Phelps to host Saturday Night Live on NBC. The Olympic swimmer will need to adapt to comedy for the role. He will be joined by rapper Lil Wayne.
The Telegraph says “Phelps has been besieged with showbusiness and commercial offers since he became the most decorated Olympian in history earlier this month” and “the 23-year-old will be joined by rapper Lil Wayne as co-host, after Phelps revealed that he listens to New Oreans hip hop star on his iPod before races”.

Jonathan Ross returns with a new series of his chat show, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, on Friday 5th September.
Guests for the first show back will be TV personality & actress Kelly Brook, the duo from the hit BBC comedy series The Mighty Boosh (who will also be singing on the show) and music from British band The Streets.
Jonathan will also be welcoming home Team GB from the 2008 Olympic Games.
Friday Night With Jonathan Ross airs on the 5th September 2008 at 10.35pm UK time on BBC1. The series will run from September right the way through to Christmas.
FNWJR will also be available in high definition on the BBC HD channel (available on cable and Sky) at the same time - 10.35pm.

CNBC Europe has gone back to it’s pre-Olympics schedule from tonight onwards - the NBC Nightly News at 11.30pm UK time Monday-Friday and Late Night With Conan O’Brien only airing on weekends at 8.45pm. The Tonight Show With Jay Leno still airs Monday-Friday at 11pm UK time, in the cutdown 30 minute timeslot before the NBC Nightly News.
Don’t forget our petition is still going to get Late Night With Conan O’Brien back on at a regular Monday-Friday slot on UK television.
