The official website for The Jay Leno Show recently launched. The Jay Leno Show – Leno’s new 10pm show – begins on NBC from the 14th September.
The website currently consists of video clips (including behind-the-scenes footage and “best of” clips for The Tonight Show) most of which is restricted to US broadband users only, photos, news, blogs, message boards and more.
A live webcam is available which shows the progress of construction at the studio for The Jay Leno Show. Click here to view the webcam. The NPR website says the webcam’s “the unbearable dullness of zzzz”.
The NBC website for The Jay Leno Show is available at www.thejaylenoshow.com or through the old Tonight Show URL at www.nbc.com/leno – the old Tonight Show website has been removed.
You can also follow The Jay Leno Show on Twitter and become a fan of the show on Facebook.

Just over two years ago, we posted that Paul Shaffer’s memoirs will be published in a book to be released in 2009. Well, you can now pre-order the book called “We’ll Be Here for the Rest of Our Lives: A Swingin’ Show-Biz Saga” in hardcover from Amazon.co.uk and other stores. It’s due to be released on the 6th October in the US, and on the 13th October here in the UK.
The description for the book on the official CBS Store reads;
From Paul Shaffer, lifelong music junkie, hipster, and longtime leader of David Letterman’s band, comes a candid, endearing, hilarious, and star-studded memoir of a life in-and love of-show business.
How does a kid go from a remote Canadian town at the tip of Lake Superior to the bright lights of Broadway and a gig leading the band on Letterman? This book is Paul Shaffer’s answer to that question. From playing seedy strip joints in Toronto, to his first legitimate job out of college-which found him working with future stars (and friends) Gilda Radner, Martin Short, and Eugene Levy-to being first musical director of the nascent Saturday Night Live and helping to form the Blues Brothers, to being onstage every night with Dave and playing with the greatest musicians of our time, Shaffer has lived the ultimate showbiz life.
Now, in this hilarious, entertaining, and candid memoir-in which he dishes on everyone from John Belushi and Jerry Lewis to Mel Gibson and Britney Spears-Paul gives us the full behind-the-scenes story of his life, from banging out pop tunes on the piano at the age of twelve to leading the band every night at the Sullivan Theater.

We’ve started a new group on Facebook which will act as a petition. The aim is to get The Colbert Report back on UK television – it’s not been available on UK TV for several months.
Click here to go directly to the Facebook group – you just need to join it to show your support and leave a message if you wish. Thank you. Once we have enough group members we will contact various television channels to present it to them.
Please visit our Petitions page for details on all our campaigns – past and present.
