Letterman in the news

One story getting a lot of coverage this week was the Late Show segment “George Bush vs Ahmadinejad” (link – including video clip) where Dave goes through a list of similarities and differences between the Iranian leader, and US President. My particular favourite being “Ahmadinejad: Speaks in broken, hard-to-understand English. Bush: Speaks in broken, hard-to-understand English”. Another bit of Late Show news getting quite a bit of press was Paris Hilton’s appearance on the show on Friday. In Dave’s very own inimitable style, he asked Paris about her time in jail and – let’s just say – Paris looked a bit uncomfortable. Showbiz blog site, Perez Hilton, says “this is some of Dave’s funniest work”. (link – including video clip).
