Late Show Fire

As I mentioned in the roundup of my New York visit, there was a small fire at the Ed Sullivan Theater building on Wednesday (I have some video of everyone arriving - fire trucks, etc - which I’ll put up on the site soon). The Canadian Press reports “Fire officials responded about 10 a.m. Wednesday after a report of an odour of smoke inside the building at 1697 Broadway, where Letterman does his late-night talk show at the historic 80-year-old theatre. According to CBS, one crew member was taken to a hospital as a precaution, but then released”.
