Stephen Colbert hosts show while sick

Stephen Colbert hosted The Colbert Report this week, despite being sick.

Colbert hosted the show in a robe and “nana’s blanket” – he joked “she put up quite a fight when I took it”. He made it through the show but said “I have a fever and there is nothing left in my stomach”.

  1. At first I thought this was a joke, just his stichtk, but from the way he looked and the sound of his voice and the lack of energy, I think he really did the show sick. If so, wow, really? Why wouldn’t you just do a rerun? After all, it was a holiday. Nevertheless, Godspeed. You are one funny guy.
