NBC - YouTube channel no more
Posted: Saturday, 27th October 2007 at 6:49pm by Paul
NBC have removed their official NBC YouTube channel this week - in a move which is thought to coincide with the upcoming launch of the NBC and News Corp venture called Hulu, which they are hoping is going to be a rival to YouTube. Hulu was announced in August this year, and was said to be coming soon. This means clips from such shows as The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Late Night With Conan O’Brien and Saturday Night Live are no longer available officially on the YouTube service. Removing their YouTube presence completely does seem like a drastic step to take, so we can only assume the Hulu service is launching before the year ends.
