CBS have started promoting The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
The new programme now has its own social media accounts and a brand new website has appeared:
There’s also an official podcast for The Late Show which gets posted up on the new website.
The old Late Show With David Letterman website still lives on for the time being at www.cbs.com/lateshow but CBS have recently removed much of the video content from the Late Show With David Letterman YouTube channel and the CBS website due to licensing.
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert even has its own iOS app but it’s sadly only available on the US App Store at the time of writing this.
There have been a few videos posted to YouTube already including Stephen Colbert’s introductory video featuring the “Colbeard”:
He’s also announced his new band leader as Jonathan Batiste from Louisiana:
One final video has been posted showing Colbert preparing for the launch of the new show:
– The programme is being called The Late Show With Stephen Colbert everywhere including the new logo which has been revealed (see top right) instead of Late Show as it was throughout Letterman’s tenure.
– Work to renovate the Ed Sullivan Theater in time for September is well underway and the new high-tech marquee signage is set to be installed in the coming weeks.
