Two shows we cover here went home with awards last night. The award for ‘Variety, Music or Comedy Series’ went to the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and ‘Writing, Variety, Music or Comedy Program’ went to Late Night with Conan O’Brien (AP). Daily Show to air Iraq reports – from Iraq

What!? I’m also shocked that they’ve been using a green screen all this time. Next week The Daily Show will air real reports from Iraq, filmed when Rob Riggle visited the country. Comedy Central says the reports are “in-depth” and provide “insights from the front lines”. Riggle has served in Liberia, Kosovo and Afghanistan as a major in the Marine Corps Reserves. More at E!
