We posted back in May that Conan O’Brien is coming back to New York for a week’s worth of talk shows this year.
That time has finally come – Conan’s talk show will be temporarily relocated to New York for next week (the 31st October through to the 3rd November).
A special event is planned for next week’s New York shows – a gay wedding. NYMag.com’s Vulture section reports he’ll “be officiating an on-air wedding during one of those episodes, and it’s the sort of marriage ceremony that couldn’t have taken place back when O’Brien used to tape his show in New York: a legal wedding between two men. Show sources are quick to caution that the potentially groundbreaking event is no mere publicity stunt, and isn’t intended to make light of gay marriage — in fact, O’Brien will be marrying a longtime staffer and his partner”.
Jimmy Fallon – the current host of Conan O’Brien’s original NBC talk show Late Night – will be interviewed on Monday night’s show. The full guest lineup is;
Monday 31st October – Jimmy Fallon, Reggie Watts
Tuesday 1st November – Hugh Jackman, Cobra Starship featuring Sabi
Wednesday 2nd November – Matthew Broderick, Paul Simon
Thursday 3rd November – Louis C.K.
