The Jonathan Ross Show to premiere this September

The Jonathan Ross Show to premiere this September

ITV have announced Jonathan Ross’s new talk show will air next month.

The series will be called The Jonathan Ross Show and will premiere on ITV1 on Saturday 3rd September.

It’s thought the show follows a similar format to his old BBC show Friday Night With Jonathan Ross – each show will be an hour long and feature interviews with three guests alongside music acts.

The Jonathan Ross Show will air for eight weeks. A timeslot is yet to be announced.

ITV have put together a clever advert to announce the new series, featuring Jonathan Ross in a monastery with his mouth taped shut (a reference to being gagged by the BBC for the Sachsgate scandal).

The promo will air on Saturday – presumably during the premiere of The X Factor – but you can watch it now on The Guardian’s website by clicking on the thumbnail image below.
